How to properly use and wear Maskie?

With clean hands, take your Maskie out of the pouch and hold the mask by the ear loops or ties. Adjust to comfort while making sure to cover your nose, mouth and chin. To remove Maskie only use clean hands. Avoid touching the front of the mask. Only touch the ear loops or ties. Wash your hands again to avoid transferring germs.

How do I wash and dry Maskies?

We recommend washing your Maskie after each wear. Maskie can be washed in the washing machine with other items. We recommend the hottest setting on your washing machine to neutralize the microbes. You can also boil your Maskie in boiling water for several minutes to clean it. Place in direct sunlight or in the dryer to dry. You may store your clean mask in this pouch. It is recommended that you replace your Maskie every 30 Washes.

What is Maskie made of?

How is Maskie protecting me and my loved ones?

Each Maskie is UV sanitized before packaging. It’s made from 2 PLY 100% premium cotton to ensure superior protection and ultimate comfort for extended wear. An integrated filter pocket can be conveniently filled with Maskie filters. We encourage the use of Maskie filters for maximum protection if you are regularly exposed to crowded places such as offices, malls or public transport. Your UV sanitized Maskie can be safely worn without filters too.

What is the difference between Maskie Plus and Maskie Halo?

Maskie Plus has adjustable ear loops whereas Maskie Halo has an adjustable strap that goes around the head.

Does Maskie hurt the ears?

Maskie prioritizes your comfort for extended wear. Our ergonomic unisex design considers your ears too! We have not had any complaints with discomfort in the ear Area.

Can I wear my Maskie over 30 washes?

Yes you can keep wearing your Maskie post 30 washes, as long as it fits nice and snug! However regular wear and tear is normal so you may see the fabric start to gently fade and/or stretch. If you notice wear and tear it is best to replace your Maskie right away.

Will it fit my face?

Maskie is one size fits most! We have experimented with a variety of face shapes and sizes to make sure it’s a comfortable fit for most! We recommend the Maskie Plus model or Halo model for the more customized fit. These styles are adjustable!

Is there a pocket for inserting a filter?

Each Maskie actually has an optional filter pocket. Your Maskie can also be safely worn without filters too ;)

Can I wear Maskie without inserting a filter?

Yes, your maskie can be safely worn without filters. We encourage the use of Maskie filters for maximum protection if you are regularly exposed to crowded places such as offices, malls or public transport.

What are the Maskie filters made from?

Maskie 5 Layer filters are the ultimate way to protect yourself and your loved ones. The Maskie filters have 5 superior layers: non-woven fabric filter, melt blown cloth layer, active carbon layer, non-woven fabric filter, and finally a filtering cloth.

What filters will work with the Maskie?

Maskie filters work best with Maskies. You can purchase Maskie filters directly on our online store. Standard filters from other brands fit with Maskie as well.

How do I insert the filter and use the Maskie with it?

Using a filter will provide extra protection against polluted air particles. Wash your hands. Pick up your clean Maskie and new filter. Insert the filter inside the Maskie filter pouch and Voila! Depending on the usage and surroundings you are exposed to, we recommend replacing your filter after a days’ use.

Do Maskie Kids come with a filter pocket?

No, they don’t in order to encourage more breathability for children.

Do the fashion masks come with a filter pocket?

Some of our fashion masks do come with a filter pouch, however not all. Please read the description of each collection to verify if it includes an optional filter pouch. HYPE, MUTED and ORPHIC Collections have an optional filter pocket.

Are fashion masks adjustable?

Yes, they are made with soft adjustable straps equipped with silicone adjusters.

How do you clean or wash them?

Maskie Couture is made from delicate fabrics and materials. Hand wash in cold water or dry clean only. Air dry. Avoid vigorous scrubbing to extend the life of your Maskie. You may also steam or iron on low settings to maintain the shape of your Maskie Couture mask.

Where are Maskie Couture fashion masks made?

Made with love in the UAE. All Maskie Couture items are limited and handmade collections. Slight size and fit variance exists from one mask to another.

Help! My silicone adjusters fell off!

You may use a pin or paper clip to pull your ear loop back through the adjuster. Just be careful and don’t poke yourself.

The one I wanted sold out! Will you get more?

All Maskie Couture items are limited and handmade collections. Fabrics are sourced in small batches from around the world. Once a style is sold out we can’t promise it will be back.

How is the fit?

All Maskie Couture items are limited and handmade collections. Slight size and fit variance exists from one mask to another. Generally Maskie Couture masks are a snug fit. Hype and Muted Collections are a less structured style and we recommend those for more customization and fit flexibility. For fuller face shapes we would go with one of the masks from the Hype or Muted Collection.

Maskie’s Nano mist device is a no mess, portable, sanitizing solution! This compact Nano sprayer is made with ultrasonic vibration technology, to create atomized particles that delicately spray surfaces without making them overly wet. This advanced delivery system uses less sanitizer for more surface area coverage than traditional sprays! Saving your product and money. It’s equipped with an easy-to-fill tank for any water-soluble, sanitizing liquid of your choosing. Voila! Our clever design positions this water tank under a sleek cover to prevent leakage. Use this handy, Nano mister to spray down personal items such as keys, phones, face masks, wallets, laptops and larger surfaces like fabrics and shoes. You may also find this portable, sanitizing device helpful in public places as you clean door handles or taps before touching them!

How do I use and fill the Nano Mist Device?

Open the lid, fill with your choice of liquid and put the lid back on. Twist the cap on and make sure you hear a click that confirms full closure and will prevent leaks. Push the slider up or down and press on round sensor to release spray. The alcohol content of the sanitization liquid you choose must be 75% or less for this device to avoid erosion. Do not fill the device with water-insoluble liquid. Clean between fills.

How do I clean this device?

We recommend washing your Nano mist device between uses. Simply empty the water tank and clean it using soap and water. Do not place your Nano sprayer in the dishwasher or submerge it in water.

What can I fill this device with?

You may fill it with any liquid of your choice. Do not fill the device with water-insoluble liquid. The alcohol content of the sanitization liquid you choose must be 75% or less for this device to avoid erosion.

How long does one filled tank last?

Generally an entire tank will last for about 8 minutes of continuous spray. And we noticed that it usually takes 10-20 seconds to spray down an item such as shoes or a laptop. So If our math isn’t wrong, one tank should be enough to spray down 30-45 items depending on the size of those items.

HELP! My device is leaking!

This typically happens if you overfilled the device too high to the rim or if you didn’t lock in the lid. Please make sure liquid is filled just under the rim. When closing the lid, you should twist and hear a click - confirming the device has properly closed.

Can I fill this tank with skincare products?

As long as it's not water-insoluble liquid, you can. Things like toners or facial sprays typically found in spray bottles will work nicely in this Nano sprayer.

My tracking number doesn’t work!

Don’t worry your order has been processed! Please allow 24 - 48 hours for your tracking number to activate and show updates.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping within the UK generally takes 1-3 business days.

Shipping to EU takes 2-5 business days.

Shipping to other destinations generally takes 4-12 business days. International shipping is expected to experience delays due to Covid19 as every country is affected differently.

Shipping is taking way too long. What’s going on?

We’re so sorry for your experience. Unfortunately the shipping delay is on behalf of the courier and is out of our control. Maskie is processing the majority of your orders within the day and handing it off to the courier. Due to Covid19 and social distancing the workforce of courier companies is not able to operate at their full capacity. Please allow a few more days for your delivery or contact the courier using the tracking number to get more real time updates!

Do I have to pay for duties on my order?

Duties are charged by the Government and not by Maskie. Should your order be subject to duties it is the customer’s responsibility to settle those payments. If you are ordering from your regional Maskie website you shouldn’t be charged duties. While ordering from the international website duties may apply.

Guidelines
